01 / Client work

Bringing me a project

Client work runs through Kimcard Technologies, my studio. I take a small number of engagements at a time so each one gets a senior engineer rather than a rotating team. Operational systems (scheduling, audit trails, and payment reconciliation), rescue work on systems nobody wants to touch, and the operations layer after launch.

The first call is free and takes 30 minutes. You will leave it knowing roughly what the work costs, or that I am the wrong person for it.

What I take on

Custom web applications

02 / Full-time roles

Hiring for a role

I am open to senior full-stack, backend, or platform roles where the work is close to what I already do best: operational systems that have to stay up, from scheduling to payment reconciliation, and the engineering around them.

  • Remote. I work from Nairobi, EAT (UTC+3), one to three hours ahead of Europe and seven to eight ahead of US East. A European working day overlaps almost all of mine. US East gets my afternoon.
  • Open to relocation for the right role.
  • Kenyan citizen. I would need visa sponsorship to work on-site outside Kenya.
